Franklin Gregg is a 1L at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He currently serves as the President of the Penn Law Real Estate Club and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society’s Associate Entertainment Chair. Further, he is an active member of the Wharton School’s Zell/Lurie Real Estate Department and mentorship program. Before attending law school, Franklin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami with majors in Political Science and International Studies and minors in Entertainment Business and Sports Administration. In his free time, he enjoys travel, music production, concerts, and anything involving Pittsburgh sports.
Elise Holtzman (eholtzman@bilzin.com)
Elise Holtzman is a 2L at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Elise serves as an Articles Editor on the Florida Law Review, which selected her student Note for publication, and for which she also serves as a constitutional law tutor. She is also a student volunteer for the Ask a Lawyer Project, which works with local lawyers to provide counsel to Gainesville’s homeless population. Next fall, Elise has been selected to participate in the Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Clinic. Additionally, Elise has been named to the Dean’s List and was selected for multiple donor-sponsored scholarships.
Before attending law school, Elise attended the University of Maryland where she majored in Political Science and American History. Elise was born and raised in Miami, Florida. In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with family, baking, and traveling.
Geoff Kirsner (gkirsner@bilzin.com)
Geoff Kirsner is a 1L at Harvard Law School. He is currently on the board of HL Central (the law school social organization) and he is involved with the Journal of Law and Technology, Harvard Law Entrepreneurship Project, and intramural flag football and basketball teams.
After graduating from the University of Miami in May of 2015, he spent this past summer traveling throughout Europe while studying for the Patent Bar Exam, which he took in August. He is incredibly excited to work with Bilzin and Sumberg and get to know everyone at Bilzin this upcoming summer.
Hannah Lidicker (hlidicker@bilzin.com)
Hannah Lidicker is a 1L at Vanderbilt University Law School. At Vanderbilt, Hannah is a 1L Representative of the International Law Society and the incoming Vice President for Speakers. She is also 1L representative of the Legal Aid Society and participates in Street Law.
Before starting law school, Hannah attended the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated magna cum laude and majored in Political Science and Russian Language, Culture and Literature. She studied abroad at Cambridge University and at Moscow International University. After completing her undergraduate degree, Hannah worked as a Paralegal at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and as a Business Analyst for the Capital Markets Group at Shearman & Sterling in New York. During her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends, the beach, and traveling.
Jennifer Llano (jllano@bilzin.com)
Jennifer Llano is a 2L at the Georgetown University Law Center. She is an active member of the Latin American Law Students Association. In the spring, Jennifer participated in Iron Tech Lawyer, a competition held at Georgetown Law, in which she presented an Immigration Health App built by her and her team. The application helped immigrants obtain access to legal help. During her 1L summer, Jennifer worked on special immigrant juvenile and domestic violence cases as a legal intern for the Cuban American Bar Association. During 1L, Jennifer received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Property, Contracts, and Legal Research and Writing.
Jennifer was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Florida International University, where she majored in English Literature. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, exercising, cooking, and being outdoors.
Claudia Ojeda (cojeda@bilzin.com)
Claudia Ojeda is a 1L at The George Washington University Law School. She is a member of the George Washington Law Moot Court Board as well as a member of the George Washington Law Mock Trial Board. Claudia has been selected to serve as a Writing Fellow for the law school’s Legal Research and Writing Program in the upcoming fall.
Last summer, Claudia was an SEO Law intern at Shearman & Sterling LLP in Washington, DC. Prior to law school, she attended the University of Florida where she graduated cum laude with a major in Criminology and a minor in Philosophy. Claudia was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys weightlifting and taking indoor spinning classes.
Lauren Sabella (lsabella@bilzin.com)
Lauren is a first-year law student at the University of Miami School of Law. She earned the CALI Award for the Future in Torts, and the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement in both Property and Torts. Lauren also made the Dean’s List during the fall semester.
Before entering law school, Lauren worked for 3M Company for nearly two years. She worked in the Strategic Business Development group, supporting business leaders and working on projects in strategy and marketing. Lauren earned an M.B.A. from the College of William and Mary in 2013 and double-majored in Economics and English at Rollins College, where she graduated cum laude in 2011.
