Five stellar summer associates joined us for the first day of the summer associate program yesterday. 

On the first day of summer, we sat in the Bilzin Sumberg boardroom with Marshall Pasternack and Jessica Buchsbaum. Marshall was telling us that the summer program would fly by before we knew it. Well, here we sit nine weeks later and his words have proved prophetic.

This week, we all put on our aprons and cooked our dinner at Two Chefs for a summer associate alumni event. We managed to make ourselves an amazing dinner including tuna tartare, chicken kabobs, seared salmon, risotto, and chocolate soufflé that still had me feeling full this morning.

Last week, the summer associates participated in a Federal Court Observer Program. Summer associates from the south Florida area shadowed attorneys during several hearings and participated in question and answer sessions.  A moment that stands out is when a summer associate asked a thoughtful and brave question: “What tips do you have for the next
